One of the hardest things an artist can do is something different. We can get comfortable easy. I admire any artist that isn't afraid to fail, especially when trying new techniques and mediums. I, for one, find it painfull yet rewarding when I force myself to change my approach to my art. While watching his youtube clip, his uncertainty came thru loud and clear. I've been there. As far as his work; I think it worked better as a video. Composing the image on the ground as the shadows of leaves from the tress overhead and light drifted across his piece in time lapse. I really liked that.
