Basil season is upon us. Other than the standard recipes involving either pinenuts or Walnuts, what do you do kick up your pesto?
The only thing I do is occasionally throw in a few sundried tomato, freeze in Ice cube trays and pop frozen cubes into fresh pasta with a little cream for a quick side.
