@Mike Beaumont - awesome video, please? Please?
Haha. When I got there and saw the crowd I said, "man I should have brought the camera!" But I think my wife was glad I left it at home. :) Next time perhaps! :D

Yeah, you and Katie deserve a night under the stars unencumbered. Maybe someone will post some images.

yourmilton.com was his website, but I can't remember his name either! I really liked him as well. The bowtie was killer.
It was a great event! I'm convincing my boyfriend to work on a presentation for the next one. I'm a pecha kucha convert.
@drew & AmyJ, his name is Eric Ralph - I met him at Qwirk but I'm not sure if he's permanently there or not...
Also, I thought Charles presentation was very cute, amusing, and lighthearted. If you weren't aware of the SBB, hopefully it made you want to learn more about them and how they support small business while not coming across as a sales pitch.
I think maybe dustin forgot his sense of humor at home? just because something is a local business, it doesn't mean you can't say anything about it!
I loved Reiner's presentation as well, I wish he had a whole hour to talk.
Apparently... there is no such thing as bad press.
The Silent Woman is now one of the most popular dive bars in town.
I hear there is also a boom at NAILS that look like NAILS.
I attempted to go to last's night PK but had to arrive early with kid in toe and the heat prevailed so we bolted before the festivities started.
Once you meet the gang of SBB you never look back. Not only are they a marketing force to be reckoned with but show their support to local business's of all kind. They are the embodiment of awesomeness.
I also had the chance to be on the bill the same night the poop vet technician spoke a few months back. Her presentation remains to be the best PK 20 seconds I have seen to date.
Meeting SBB actually made me a little sad that my teaching job doesn't qualify me for true alignment with them. Good people all around. The presentations covered all aspects of Columbus life and thought and made me so happy to be part of this community. People of all ages and from all walks of life showed how they want to impact their surroundings.
The most amazing part of the night was when I realized that every single one of us could probably get up there and talk about their individual contribution to Columbus. It made me think about what in my life, art and career would be worthy of 20 slides of 20 seconds each. I'll have to work on that and get back to you.
another great event. combination of PK and JV was ideal. Congrats everyone involved. Please keep up the great work.

Something similar happened to us at PK#1. ;) Took place indoors at JV and with Anne being 6 months pregnant, the heat steered us home after the first presentation.
Thankfully everything cooled off a bit outdoors once the sun went down. Quite nice after that. :D
great photos! i was exhausted from working all day outdoors, wasnt feeling very well but now im pissed that i missed it... looked like a wonderful time!

Next and all future PK's will find me not with child, they might just be in toe or underfoot depending on my mood and their level of irritability.
