Peachtoberfest 2009
Friday October 2nd, 5pm – 2am.
A sort of ironic neo-modisch interpretation of modern German stereotypes. Bring your friends and a beer stein to the alley between Viking and Dragon Fly (http://neo-vevents.com/), 247 King Ave, and celebrate the revitalization of an antiquated German holiday the Peach District way (http://thepeachdistrict.wordpress.com/).
Peachtoberfest will feature mediocre light-video dance installations, unfunny local comedians, whatever local bands we could get, a YouTube dance off, and games with prizes not worth competing for.
Dress up in Lederhosen or your best David Hasselhoff, and come to what local residents are billing as “the most ironic event of the season†and “the place not to be seen.â€Â
A full schedule of the event is available upon request. Anyone interested in more active participation should e-mail Zachariah at ZAB333@gmail.com.
