I recently moved to Columbus from New York where I used to run bi-weekly lan parties at computer shop up there and I was curious if any you ladies and gents know of a group, or even just a few people who might be interested in starting something up hopefully somewhere close to the downtown-area. Some of the games we played in NY were COD 2 and 4, UT3, and StarCraft, for example.

i would absolutely play starcraft... my evolution into the world of video games peaked in 1998.

I used to do a lot of lan gaming in high school (Doom 2, Quake, Warcraft 2, etc) but my friends and I stopped having regular time for it, and few of us keep our computers updated to play the latest and greatest games.
That being said, I'd be totally down for a CU Starcraft Meetup. ;)

As I said I just moved here and I don't have a place for anyone to meet, but I wouldn't mind managing the setup if someone would be willing to host, or at least know of a good location.

In the original cut dave asks them what they do when they are not playing and they yelled out 'posting on Charleston Underground'.... :)
