Did anyone watch this last night? It was kind of nice to see the one photo of Derek Jeter in his Columbus Clippers uniform when they were discussing the Yankees farm system.

Yes, I liked it overall, but I am not a fan of the Barry Bonds storyline that is taking up so much time of the documentary.
Hopefully tonight is much better.

I watched last night, and will watch again tonight. Overall, I enjoyed it, except for the 25 minutes spent on the Yankees 1996 World Series. Okay, they won their first title in 18 years. Big deal. The Indians are at 62 years and counting.
Tonight's going to be tough to watch too, because a lot of attention will be paid to the 2004 Red Sox (my other least favorite team).

No chance they will mention the Indians or the Reds (I'm surprised the film even mentioned the 1995 Indians, a team that won 100 games in a short season). My one criticism of the original series (and this last episode) is that it focused WAY too much on New York. Yes, I know, it's the center of the sports universe, but there's more to the sport than what happens in NYC.

did they mention the Wire-to-Wire season for the Reds in 1990?

If I remember correctly the original "Baseball" ended right after the 1993 Blue Jays World Series win.

Probably going to be all about the Red Sox, Barry Bonds and steroids tonight.

I do agree they do spend a lot of time on the Yankees; I think the Yankees are the common thread, the epitome of baseball, in this series, much as Louis Armstrong was the focal point of his Jazz documentary.
