yeah but to be a spokesperson for diabetes related meds, shouldn't you have, you know...diabetes?
Sure, but as Bourdain tweeted she actively promoted the diet that causes the disease....kinda like (insert liquor company of choice) promoting AA or Joe Camel being the spokesperson/animal for the American Cancer Society. Irony much?

Not a dick move at all. She ate her way to Type 2 diabetes, then goes on the talk show circuit playing the victim and telling other people with type 2 diabetes to "take their medicine". In most cases type 2 diabetes can be controlled, even reversed by diet and exercise. She needs to stop stuffing her pie hole with fried everything, shut up, and get outside and get some exercise.
She has probably set diabetes care back 10 years with her stupid statements. Reminds me of Jenny McCarthy.

Bourdain did heroin for five years and smoked crack. I realize he's not advocating people do heroin on tv, but he really shouldn't judge.

I know several people who are currently eating their way into diabetes. There needs to be more of a social stigma surrounding this type of behavior.
