Has anyone had any luck finding the Passover Coca-Cola this year? I was thinking about making a trip over to Bexley tomorrow night to track some down but was hoping someone had a lead before I ventured out blindly.
Thanks!
Zach

I was just at the Giant Eagle on Hayden Run and they had a TON of it!
Giant Eagle in UA (the big one) had a pretty good Kosher for Passover selection. I almost picked up a "Pesach frog" but thought it was just too silly to have a plush animal based on one of the Plagues.
I usually stock up on the chocolate lollipops this time of year. They are just so good!
On another note, my roommate has made a version of Rebecca Black's Friday about Pesach....It's bad.
I'm only Jewish by association, but I'm pumped for Seder tonight. It's my fav!
From my understanding, corn is among the grains that some Jews observing Passover dietary restrictions can't eat. So high fructose products are forbidden.
Mexican coke does not use HFC. Is it safe for passover?
I don't think so, even though the ingredients are the same the Coke hasn't been certified "kosher for passover" by any Jewish entity.
Is Diet Kosher Coke made from real sugar?
I can't drink regular coke ... way to sweet.
Really? Pepsi is too sweet. Coke is nice and dry I think. Diet Coke has a sweet cloying flavor, icky.
I too am in search of where to find this specially formulated Coke. I have a friend who buys a half dozen or more when she finds them. I guess the formula is even different than "Mexican Coke" which just uses sugar in place of high fructose corn syrup. Passover Coke is a more natural, old Coke taste, I guess.
And I have to add that 'diet' refering to absense of sugar cracks me up. I know it is useful for those who have diabetes or other health issues but from what I've seen diet pop doesn't help anyone lose weight and some diets (like Atkins) don't want you to drink it because it prevents weight loss (my in-laws are my example :). I successfully lost weight drinking sugar sweet tea (in minimal quantities, of course).
Great thread...I'll be checking back for locations!
I found some Vindaloo coke last week in Bexley.
I'm not sure what Vindaloo Coke is, but a Indian Coke product I thoroughly enjoy is Thumbs Up.

I don't remember that one. Limca was pretty popular when I was there a few years ago. Also popular to mix that 50/50 with a beer.
Used to get it all the time at this Indian grocery. Very faint almost citrus flavor it in, very refreshing and could cut some curry head sweats.

Yeah, I don't know what Vindaloo Coke is either. Sounds made up.
Kroger Bexley has "a ton of it" according to their customer service department. Look for the yellow cap! I found it at the GH Giant Eagle last year, but they are currently out of stock.
Kroger Bexley 2000 E Main St Columbus, OH 43205 (614) 252-0761
Thank you so much everyone! I'm making the short trip over to Bexley tonight. I'll report back on their stock.
