Does anyone know about the new retail store going in next to Northstar Cafe and Emack Bolio's called Paradise Garage? It says "Bicycles and Clothing for an Urban Lifestyle." Is it really that hip and lucrative imitate poverty and the dirty habit of cycling?

I guess they came from Santa Fe. They had the number one bike shop there and decided to move to Columbus. Today is the first time I saw it without paper on the windows. Looks like a lot of clothing I didn't see a lot of bikes in there.

I do not despise anybody. Ask my girlfriend. I know lots of hipsters and they are not anywhere near wealthy. Other than a wealthy sense of sizzling style.

Is that a rhetorical question? I'm dead serious here.

I don't know. I just type. I am not really concerned about the answer to my poor grammer question.
I am going to check out the place on my way home today... maybe talk to the workers there.

Its more of a clothing shop that sells complete bicycles rather than a shop with repair, parts, accessories, and tools for sale. I am interested in checking it out none the less. It is about 800 feet from my house. It opens April 5th for GH.

It had nothing to do with your grammar. It was more of a "duh."
I mean.. seriously, look at the styles of the last few decades. Emulating: punk rock (stereotype: poor white), hip hop (stereotype: poor black), and vintage (used clothes... poor everybody).
Acting poor is WAY cooler than acting rich, and at the same time, people pay a premium for it. It makes me giggle.

I guess you answered the question Jeff.

You can answer rhetorical questions, they just shouldn't need to be ;)

I did too. ut was supposedly a fab club, New Order used to play there all the time in the early 80s.

Checked out the place Saturday and took a test ride on a Fuji track bike. It is mostly a clothing store that sells bicycles too. Talked to the proprietors a while. nice guys.
They moved to Cols. from Flagstaff cting that Cols. was super cheap for starting up a business.

i stopped in during gh. the clothes are expensive but very well made. not really made for the function of bike riding though. the bikes looked pretty. i'm just glad that columbus has become a city that is attracting more biking oriented businesses, whether i personally would shop there or not. i will be happy when yuppies stop driving suvs and ride bikes instead. we need to get away from the everyone that rides bikes is poor stereotype and the clothes in there were not fakenger style. i did look at the locks because mine is old and really heavy and they were maybe a little overpriced.
