I could be wrong but this will probably be the tallest building in central ohio outside of downtown.

I believe you're correct. At 293 feet tall, it will be the 18th tallest building in the city, according to this list:
http://medicalcenter.osu.edu/aboutus/expansion/Pages/index.aspx
It's just 33 feet taller than the nearby Lincoln & Morrill Towers, which seem to have jointly held the previous title of tallest buildings (same height) outside of Downtown.

New OSU hospital tower not just ‘sticks and bricks’

Ohio State University’s new hospital tower reaches a milestone today when the last of 10,200 steel beams is lifted into place. The event marks completion of the 297-foot-tall steel skeleton that will become the new site of the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Critical Care Center.

Pretty poorly designed building by HOK. Talk about a giant block of glass and monochromatic brick.

@columbusmike from the perspective of a frequent patient of the Medical Center, I like the glass. It means there's a good chance that if I'm laid up in the hospital I'll at least have a good view during my convalescence. Open airy buildings, and light therapy help in recovery more than architectural ambition.
