Ohio State is damn lucky to have that interception. Started off strong, but injuries sure did hurt us in the 4th quater.

Couldn't have come at a better time; I think that was the only Arkansas turnover all game.
We didn't have any traditional turnovers (lost fumbles and interceptions), but we did have the safety and the fumble recovery on 4th down that still didn't get us to the 1st down marker. Boom Herron did not advance his NFL prospects tonight, to the extent that he had any anyway.

One of my friends has an explanation for this. "If years of southern inbreeding causes you to drop the ball, so be it."

More Sad News for You Buckeye Fans
>:o( Double Post

RichRod leaving isn't sad news - it's great news, Michigan needs a good coach so they can be a good team for us to beat... it's no fun having a rival who's crap!

^^ It's not sad news for me, Brother Marcus. I meant that it's sad news for Ohio State and their fans. NEVER have I lobbied for someone to lose their job until this guy became UM's Head Coach. 28 Months of hard work to get him fired has paid off. Good riddance!
Michigan needs a Bill Cowher (not gonna happen) or a Jim Harbaugh (also not gonna happen) that will make Michigan beat OSU on a yearly basis, just like they did at the turn of the 20th Century and throughout the Cooper years.

I'm with Marcus, I'd actually like Harbaugh to go to U of M. College football is more fun when the rivalry means something. A good Michigan team is good for everyone.

I gotta admit...this is pretty funny. Bravo TCU.
Texas Christian University is throwing a jab at Ohio State and university president Gordon Gee -- in the form of billboards.
TCU, fresh off a victory over Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl, appears to be retaliating against Gee for comments he made about BCS non-automatic qualifying schools, like TCU and Boise State.
"Having been both a Southeastern Conference president and a Big Ten president, that it's like murderer's row every week for these schools," Gee said a few months ago. "We do not play the Little Sisters of the Poor. We play very fine schools on any given day."

So, does anyone else think that Ohio State's Sugar Bowl victory should have an asterisk next to it?

more directly to your question, I think it will in some way shape or form. the delayed suspensions will always get mentioned as a "sure but...."
however, i also think it would have had an asterisk next to it if those players had not played and Arkansas won. there would have always been mention that OSU was short handed.

According to a report from Yahoo Sports, Jim Tressel KNEW that said players were selling memorabilia for money, as early as last April.
If this report is true, buh-bye Tressel, don't let the door hit you on the way out (1). (2) OSU could be the new Southern Methodist/USC, and could be paying the piper for years to come.
In some happy news, Eddie George is a semi-finalist on the ballot for the College Football Hall of Fame.
