I'm ready for it. Lets please not threaten to fire Tressel on our first lost this year. It's everyone’s go to. It's hard to have a perfect season in college football. I hardly think one or two loses means he has to go. Not saying I'm a hardcore Tressel supporter, just sayin...

I've marked 10/16 on my calendar for that game. If Otterbein is still as good as they've been the last two years, this could be # 4 in a row over the Purple People Haters. The following week is a (very winnable) homecoming game against Muskingum.
I'm planning on going to their season opener against Ohio Northern before heading to Independence INDEPENDENT'S Day festivities.
Side question: What about High School Football? For those of us who don't live near the core of the city, how big is it in your community?

Granted, it was Marshall, but I saw a lot in this game that is continuing to feed my foolish overconfidence in the season. Pryor looked stellar, Saine is the real deal, even Boom Herron looked faster than normal and really solid. Defensively...well, its Ohio State. The only real question mark for me is how the offensive line will look against tougher teams.
Now if we can just never...ever...have another game on BTN I'll be happy. The announcing team last night was just god awful.

Big game coming up this weekend. Miami looked tough but so did Ohio State against weak opponents. I think if we can get pressure on Jacory Harris, Miami won't be a problem.
I really liked what I saw out of Pryor. His mechanics are sharper, his release is quicker and his accuracy is vastly improved.
What's everyone's plan this saturday? Tailgating? Going to the game? watching at home or ba?

the barometer will be OSU o-line vs. Miami d-line, they are tough
hopefully the Bucks will get an actual win against the 'canes this time instead of a gift national championship
let's not kid ourselves buckeye fans, that game should have ended with gamble's dropped pass in the endzone
