The team I was most worried about, Syracuse, out of the way I foresee good things for the Bucks :D

Yeah, we only have Kentucky, North Carolina, Duke & Kansas in our way.
THE FOUR TEAMS WITH THE MOST WINS IN NCAA BASKETBALL HISTORY.

;)lol...don't get me wrong, no cakewalk, but I was really most nervous about Syracuse.

Kentucky worries me, though we definitely have the talent to beat them. I've been keeping my fingers crossed because we've had some inconsistent games this year, when Sullinger looked lackadaisical and Diebler couldn't find his range. Northwestern came close to taking us out on two occasions, I believe.
Of course, we've also had games that looked like the Wisconsin game at the end of the regular season, where we took a top-10 team and lit them up for 93% from the three-point line.
You have to win six games in a row to win the tournament. Consistency matters.
*******
On the issue of stronger regular-season games, I definitely think we could stand to play a few more games against teams closer to home. I'd add Notre Dame and Butler to Antonio's list from earlier, too. I wouldn't want to see us become a team halfway into the Big East, of course, so we couldn't play all of those, but Kentucky, Butler, and Pittsburgh would make a good set.
Some coaches and ADs consider that risky because you risk losing out on the recruiting wars locally if you develop too much of a losing streak to other teams in the same region, but there seems to be enough talent for OSU and the leading schools in all of our neighboring states.

;)It will be an incredible run if we can beat those four teams. Historically you'd only need to throw in UCLA to make it the hardest run you could set up.

They say to be the best you have to beat the best. If this team pulls it off they'll become legendary at OSU.
Not to mention we haven't won a NCAA Championship since 1960.

I believe this team has what it takes to do it. They have balance which is important. Only vulnerability I see is lack of depth. Although D. Thomas has shown flashes of his ability, we don't have much beyond that.
Yeah, I know Sibert contributes but we'll need the starting five plus Craft to make it through that daunting list of opponents.
UK does worry me abit.

The image on the front page of ESPN.com is pretty hilarious right now.

Good god that performance was beautiful. It doesn't get much better than spanking Duke, with a soundtrack of Duke/ACC homer Dick Vitale gushing over the Buckeyes for 40 minutes straight.

Did anyone else notice the star-studded crowd at the game last night? Also, did you see the students camped outside the arena the last couple days waiting to get in for the game? OSU Basketball is becoming pretty big in this town...

That was one of the most nerve wracking and entertaining games I've watched in a long time, and totally worth every heart palpitating moment.

What a terrible half, followed by a not so good start to a second half, and concluded with and absolutely ridiculous final 10 minutes.
I LOVE MARCH!

I almost turned it off when we were down 24-9 early in the first half, too. Michigan State's defense owned us in the first matchup and it looked like we were headed that way again. And we were definitely taking a lot of selfish, ill-advised shots, and paying for it at both ends of the floor.
I'm also hoping to see a little more of Evan Ravenel in the future. He was doing well as Sullinger's backup (and Sullinger himself wasn't covering himself in glory this game).

Breaking news:
Three players, including Evan Smotrycz, are leaving Michigan and transferring to other schools. New reports suggest Trey Burke is seriously considering transferring too.
OUCH.

Maybe they will go to the Bobcats? I would be happy with Trey Burke. :)

Hah! If Trey Burke ends up on the Bobcats next year, it will more likely be the Charlotte Bobcats than the Ohio ones.
