The Columbus Cultural Arts Center (located @ 139 W Main St) is hosting an open house on Friday Nov. 6, from 5:30--10:00 p.m.
Although I've not been in previous years, It should be pretty cool. The different studios will be open, there will be demonstrations. Also there will be music, food, and other items for sale. I take a ceramics class there, and I know people have been making lots of mugs and bowls in preparation for the event. If you buy either a mug or bowl, you get free soup or cider with the purchase.
There will also be other items, aside from mugs and bowls to purchase as well.
Most importantly, there will be beer and wine. I know I signed up to work the bar from 5:30-7:00 so stop by and say.
