Anyone else think this was hilariously ironic?
The award was presented "behind closed doors with no media coverage or public access allowed," the AP reports. The meeting was also reportedly not on the president's official schedule.
Seriously?
I mean, to give the benefit of the doubt.. The president being "too busy for a public event" may be true, but someone had to have realized doing that would create priceless irony (and an easy opening for cheap shots).
Ya gotta love it.
