Crumbling Ohio University campus needs $2.5 billion fix

ATHENS, Ohio — Ohio University should invest more than $2.5 billion over the next 20 years to keep its campus from falling apart, campus officials told the board of trustees yesterday.
“The bottom line is our deferred maintenance continues to grow, and it is being noticed by students, parents, faculty and staff,” said Harry Wyatt, associate vice president of facilities. “We’re embarrassed by it.”
