OHRG Have a Double Header on June 11!
Speed, hip checks and pure athleticism await you this weekend at the The Ohio Expo Center’s Lausche
Building. Wear your green and black, and come out to cheer on Columbus’ very own Ohio Roller Girls!
June 11 is your next chance to catch the ladies in action as they take on Madison’s Team Unicorn and the
Tri-City Roller Girls in an exciting, family-friendly double header.
The first bout of the evening will showcase Ohio’s B-Team, Gang Green, against Team Unicorn from
Madison, WI. Gang Green is 6-1 for the 2011 season, having recently taken 1st place at the Midwest
Derby Girl Summit tournament in Toledo. Team Unicorn has suffered defeats in their last two bouts.
The Ohio Roller Girls All-Stars will then face Tri-City Thunder (Kitchener, Ontario, CA) in the final bout
of the night. So far this season, the Ohio All-Stars are undefeated at home and 5-2 in Regional play. Tri-
City is a new addition to Ohio’s region and have come away with just two wins this season over the Paper
Valley Roller Girls, and the Rockford Rage. This will be the first time that the two teams meet in
WFTDA (Women’s Flat Track Derby Association) Sanctioned play and the outcome is sure to reflect in
Ohio’s future rankings.

Doors Open at 3:30 and action kicks off at 5pm. Second game follows at 7pm.
Yelp! is hosting a pre-bout tailgate from 3:30-5:00 in the Lausche Parking Lot.
Note: CASH ONLY at the Expo Center. Beer and concessions are available on site. Parking is $5 per car,
so carpooling is encouraged.
