And why yes that is Me and my Boyfriend and I will get him to wear the Monarch for this no matter how many shots of tequila it takes!!!!!!

Bumping because it is THIS weekend! And they finally put up the full event schedule.
Even if you don't watch anime it'll be fun time people/cosplay watching down at the north Market and Convention Center. I even met some people that came all the way from ENGLAND just for this event!
It'll be good times!

For search purposes, might want to correct the spelling of the thread title, though it doesn't mean much at this point, considering it starts tomorrow.
Would loved to have made it. Mother Nature and Father Finance had other ideas.

>_< Sheesh... I wanted to go so bad!! Can't got the kids this weekend. Plus I need a really good cosplay costume. Maybe I'll go as a FF character...
Have fun, please post pics of the event. ~Thanks =^_^=

I unfortunately lack the courage to monarch for ohayacon. It's for house parties only ...
FYI you don't have to pay for ohayacon, only if you plan on going in the dealer room and screening rooms. It's the best people watching event in Columbus, beating the fair. Where else are you going to see less than fit guy dressed up as sailor moon?

No need to worry if you can't go. We've got our #1 Reporter on the front lines all weekend. :D

yep, the dealer room is where the vendors are. I believe if you actually want to buy stuff it only costs $10 for Sunday. Also the vendors don't want to take anything with them, so you can get some deals on Sunday.

It's been in Columbus since 2003. All but the first two years:

Fun pics. Was particularly impressed with the Lulu costume (even if she was the weakest character in FFX by the end of the game, given how much they underpowered black magic).

In May there is another Convention I'm thinking of going to called ACEN in Chicago. This is supposed to be the Biggest Anime Convention in the US. Not the mention that is the weekend of the new Star Trek movie so it will be geeked to the MAX
