ODOT To Rebuild 7-Mile Stretch Of I-270 On Southwest Side

During the next several weeks, those orange barrels will multiply as ODOT begins work on a three-year, $80-million project that completely will rebuild both directions of I-270 between U.S. Route 62 and Roberts Road.
Improvements will be made to every lane in the seven-mile stretch of I-270.
In addition to constructing new pavement, crews working for ODOT also will widen the shoulders on 11 bridges and reconstruct the entrance and exit ramps at Georgesville Road, Broad Street and Interstate 70.
