During the month of December, the Ohio Art League will host the annual Thumb Box Exhibition of small works by OAL members. The first exhibition of this type was held during November 1916 and continued annually during the early part of the League’s history. After a many year hiatus, The Thumb Box Exhibition returned in 2006 and continues into 2012. This year it will be held in the OAL gallery at the South Campus Gateway at 1552 N. High St, Columbus, OH 43201.
Members of the Ohio Art League are encouraged to submit up to three 2-D or 3-D works for inclusion in the show, which will run from December 6 through 28, 2012. All works must be ready to hang, available for sale, and of total dimensions (including frame) not exceeding 6”x 6”x 6”. Measurements will be checked at drop-off, any measurement past the 6” mark will not be accepted.
Launched in August 2010, TheMetropreneur.com is a local online resource devoted to small business development and entrepreneurship. Its aim is to tell the stories of Central Ohio's business community, foster regional economic development and assist entrepreneurs with its resource-heavy focus.
