The Columbus Artmobile is excited to announce the implementation of our new after-school art classes being held in our new space at 400 W Rich St. The after-school program will join our homeschooler classes as the second of our programs offered in Studio 103.
Open to ages 5-14 years, our after-school program will kick off on Tuesday, September 6th, and meet each Tuesday from 3:30-5:00pm. The classes will have a loose format, incorporating basic instruction with open studio...meaning the kids will have the freedom to learn what they want to learn. While the designated class time starts at 3:30, we realize schools let out at different times, so please use the window of 3:30-4:00 to drop off your child. All children MUST be picked up promptly at 5:00pm.
Our classes for the month of September will focus on basic drawing with graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, conte and ink. We'll be learning a variety of techniques and styles. If your child has something specific they would like to learn how to draw, great! We're here to teach them the skills they need to draw whatever it is that they want.
Parking is readily available along the driveway next to our building, as well as directly on Rich Street.
