Yeah, I don't like it, therefore to me it's crap. Yes, I judge them as crap. Didn't think I was too subtle on that.

You may have a different judgment; you're entitled. Heck, if they make money selling pretension, more power to them.

Actually...although their veggie burger is amazingly good on it's own, bacon does take it to another level. But I normally don't order it that way. Right now I crave those ricotta pancakes almost every weekend (but I never get em) and I swear I have dreams about the sweet basil chicken burrito.

I'm hungry now.

Had the Korma Bowl with chicken for lunch today. Nearly licked the bowl itself, it was so tasty. REALLY hit the spot.

The last couple of times I have been to the SN location I have been fairly disappointed. I am used to great food from these guys, but lately they have been slipping.

Funny this thread just got resurrected... we were just mentioning NorthStar yesterday when looking for an option for lunch. The general consensus was ..."meh".
I think the price, and uber hip macbook toting crowd finally got to us.
Went to Tip Top instead.
Always enjoyed the iced green tea, though.

I was at Easton yesterday with my wife and had to pick between panera and northstar for lunch. We went to panera mainly because of cost. But dropped 20 bucks anyway.

Love the food, dislike the prices. I find it harder and harder to justify the cost of eating there, while totally acknowledging the quality of ingredients and sourcing. I wish I had the extra funds to eat there more.
