Looks like North Campus Video is closing its doors for good.
Very few of us -- possibly none of us -- have been to the store in ages, but even still, it's a bit sad to hear the news.
But hey, they outlasted the Blockbuster and Hollywood Video that used to be less than a block away. That's badass.
So if you love VHS tapes, get thee to the NCV.

Bummed to hear this. Just called to find out when their closing day would be and they said they didn't have one. Will be open at least another month until they sell everything.
I actually never went into this location, but they also ran Video Central in German Village, which we were regulars of when we lived nearby. Was sad to see that one close too.

I recently found a DVD copy of 'The Entity' from there that I thought I had lost in a move. I think it ended up costing in $30+ "to buy" my lost copy.

I wholeheartedly recommend the Grandview Library. It's not in the Columbus library system and has a large, current movie section that is much less picked over than the downtown Columbus library. And you can place holds on current and upcoming titles thru their site. It's very nice.
