The Columbus Arts Ball is looking for a charity for this years event to donate proceeds to. Suggestions?
The Columbus Arts Ball (www.ColumbusArtsBall.com), hosted in Columbus, Ohio is a fundraising event for different groups each year. The Columbus Arts Ball is normally planned for the first Saturday in December. The theme of this event is a costume arts style ball which entails artwork from local artists in Columbus as well as from the students at Ohio States. There will also be live bands and DJs that will include several artists from across the country as well as Columbus’s own bands. Lastly this is a costume event so we do ask that people dress up. The event is estimated to have 3,000-4,000 young adults from the surrounding Columbus area in attendance.
The Columbus Arts Ball determins the worthy causes by the following things:
• How much impact does the cause have on the local community?
• How big is the cause’s current network?
o We like to find groups that are well linked with the community and could possible bring a lot of people to the event.
o Has a media outlet to help market the event
• Allows the use of their logo on our site, ads and event signage.
• Overall interested in the concept of our event.
