I'm a vegetarian who tries to dress vegan. Other than that, I'm a fairly typical Ohio guy in that I know very little about shopping, where to shop, etc in the area for specific things.
I also know buying shoes online is a giant pain in my ass.
Surely, someone knows where I can go in Columbus for some non-leather dress shoes. (I've tried DSW, a local mall, Kohl's & a couple other places).

I agree with yeti.. probably best to shop online. Nice expensive shoes will be leather.. the fake stuff will be at discount stores. Zappos has a vegan shoe section on their website, but only four in the dress category and all of them are doc martins

Anywhere that sells Danskos, Birks and/or Earth Shoes is going to have some non-leather options... Earth brand shoes in particular seem to have a selection of vegan shoes. However, they're all spendy... The Walking Store, the Comfort Store... places like that carry those sorts of brands, and tend to be more aware of the no-leather buying crowd.

The problem with shopping for shoes online is I always seem to order the wrong size. I gravitate between a size 12 or 13, depending on the exact shoe. It doesn't help that many shoes marketed as vegan come in European sizes.
This means I need to go to the post office to return shoes when I guess wrong & my weekday & Saturday schedule doesn't allow much time at all for standing in line at the post office. (I know -- boo hoo).

Sure thing... If you can figure out a size/style of any of those brands that works for you, then you can likely do the ordering online, if you can find the selection you're looking for.
A friend had to get no-leather, steel-toed work boots (due to an allergy to the tanning chemicals of leather, of all things), but I'll be damned if I can remember where they bought them. I'll definitely post if I can figure it out.
