It should be fun though 'Palace Theatre' and 'intimate' are not really overlapping sets. Tony is even more charming in person.
How the world has changed. A bunch of years ago, there was a handful of maybe 30 people who attended a talk and book-signing by Tony at the B&N Easton.

day after the michigan game... I wonder if he'll be coming down to tailgate the day before. I'll host him at mine :)

Oh man! CMH Gourmand and hungrywoolf should take him on a taco truck tour and feed him shots of tequila and local brewskies. I wanna come.

I just can't imagine him on the talk circuit, unless he's being dragged there.

I'd definitely be into attending this, what a fascinating guy. As much as I like his show, there was an episode of Boulud's show After Hours with him and Charles Dutton and a couple others eating BBQ and talking that was really cool.

It was very cool. As much as I'd love to attend this, I fear I'd end up in jail for attempted celebrity molestation. Ugh. He's so hot.

I'm not sure he'd consent to that, but if so...bad ass indeed.

Is it the stone washed 501's circa 1985, the ill fitting ratty sportscoats or the marlboro light chainsmoking that really does it for you?

Haha. That's funny. I've not found the onramp to the A. Bourdain Worship Bandwagon.
Mostly because I think the guy would hate me and summarily dismiss me offhand, all while being singularly unnattractive (in my eyes, that is).
He just comes off as a haughty boob to me, but maybe I haven't seen the good stuff...

Hmm. I believe there'll be a local wine tasting going on around that time. Wonder if he'd be interested.... ;-)

Posted 2 years ago # -
As a father? Oh crap, are we all a bunch of old people on here?

37 bucks is the cheapest ticket. I looked because I was curious what this guy could possibly do in a live setting that would be entertaining. Now I'm even more curious.
