I agree with Boyd. I go out to get away from the stresses of daily working life, but I also go out to see people I rarely see in other situations. I like to go to all kinds of places and find myself mixing it up a little more these days. Over the past couple years I have been enjoying soccer more so afternoons at Fados have been very enjoyable. If I am in a bar mood, I like places with patios, good beer selections, and music at a level to be able to talk. When I want to go more of the club route, I like places with good music, a DJ that know how to play it and a crowd that's easy-going and friendly. I do not want to see fights (I will NEVER understand those who go to clubs/bars angry). I have can’t manage an evening with getting pissed off at someone, please stay home.

This Friday, the 31st at 9pm.
We are super excited too, especially how hard we've been working on it, I can't wait to hear the reaction. What's the format going to be for the Grand Reopening; DJ, music, etc.?
Friday's reopening is with the Listen crew (Delcina, Ninestar, Mike Salamon, etc...) expect house and techno.
Oh very cool.. I haven't seen Del or Mike play out in a long time.. This could pull me out...

I honestly tend to frequent bars that have a decent beer selection, I'm personally not into mixed drink menus. Based on your beer in the past I'd definitely keep:
Stone IPA
Delirium Tremens
Chimay (Blue, Red or White... but always have Blue)
Brooklyn Lager+1
I'm a fan of your beers more than your mixed drinks, although I do like a good Jim Jones.

All of the driving forces that made Bristol before & over the last 2 years have been screwed over. I ask all of you to NOT support the owner & don’t give him any of your money. He truly doesn’t deserve it!!!
HAHAHA This is from yet another satisfied employee!

Were they planning on telling any of the staff? Or when our keys did not fit anymore was that the “Bristol way†of firing us?
It will all work out in the end and hopefully people will not chose to drink or socialize at a bar with such a wonderful owner, Todd Anderson! I have never received a pay check! What’s up with that?
And as a heads up to anyone who ever went there… If the top shelf vodka(Goose, Kettle, Skyy, Stoli, Belvidere) tastes like well($10 dollars per bottle)… thats because IT IS! Very sketchy place in my opinion.
Signed Sealed Delivered!â€Â

@BristolBar - I'll try and make it on Friday. I'm on a caipirinha kick. If you had some good cachaca and caipirinhas there that would be awesome.

Thanks Jon, great idea. Any other requests?

Mr bubbles would love to have a feature menu item that was suggested by a selected guest each month. This would give your guests a sense of ownership and pride. In any business Mr Bubbles believes people want to see themselves. That's why restaurant managers/owners and servers always have to deal with "You should really do it this way....." comments. They just want to be part of the vision. The more you let your guest have the more they will give. I also think your first guest recipe should be from Mr Bubbles!

Ok Mr Bubbles, give it to me! Wait, did I mean that?
How about you PM me your info and we'll come up with a drink together before opening?
Free on Wednesday?
