I'm kicking myself for not waiting 6 months. You see, I became an Apple user back in January with the purchase a 15" MacbookPro. Naturally, I quickly replaced my junky verizon mobile phone with the Iphone (aka Jesus Phone) I have to admit, since I made the switch to Mac and Iphone, I definitely feel like I am better than most other people.
Now though, this new laptop is coming out and I feel like I should have waited. I guess that's just the way it goes in the fast moving world of technology.

On a slightly more serious note... I bought my current Macbook Pro laptop three years ago. I'm seeing them sell used on Amazon for around half of what I paid. These things seem to hold their value MUCH better than any PC I've ever owned.
I'll probably keep it for a little while longer, but it's nice to know that I can hopefully cash it in and put that towards the next purchase. :D

Apple Said to Plan Thinner Mac Laptops With Intel Chips

Apple Inc. (AAPL) (AAPL) is preparing a new lineup of thinner MacBook laptops running on more powerful chips made by Intel Corp. (INTC) (INTC), people with knowledge of the plans said. The MacBook Pro machines, to be unveiled at Apple’s annual developers conference starting June 11, also will feature high- definition screens like those on the iPhone and iPad, as well as flash memory to cut startup times and extend battery life, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the plans haven’t been made public.
