I'm VERY new to the area (N.W. Columbus) and feel a bit like a fish out of water. We moved here from a very small artsy village about an hour west of here. Needless to say, we can't realistically keep our doctors, markets, typical entertainment locations, etc. I would greatly appreciate recommendations wherever possible.
* We have three children, 8-15 years old, so we're looking for a great internal medicine/pediatrics office
* We're in need of a family dentist. Our daughters need braces. YIKES!
* We do our best to buy local whenever possible. Can anyone suggest the best farmers markets? Are any open year round?
* Where/when are the best places for live local music, preferably locations where 30 somethings aren't the odd balls and especially places where teens are welcome.
* Columbus has SO much to offer, any suggestions on where to begin so that we don't completely overwhelm ourselves? :)
* Local wineries with excellent (local)wine?
* Best places for a starving artist to begin checking options?
* Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated!
I know its a lot, I'd appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks!!!
