I drive by there every six months when I do some work in Cincinnati, and sometimes when I’m bored I’ll stop there and putz around. Very hit & miss, mostly miss. I’ve found some really good deals on Puma shoes & clothing at their outlet a few times, and you can score some good deals on scratch & dent furniture at the Pottery Barn outlet.

Certainly nothing to write home about.

I doubt they’ll put fine dining near the outlet mall. Now is not the time to panic.

There will certainly be dining of some sort near the outlet mall.

I don’t really see anyone panicking. Just commenting.

Thank goodness they didn’t decide to burden the west side casino area with this business.
Though, I imagine the Arena District would have been happy to have something in the area to bring in bodies.

I was just thinking when I saw this post that a great spot would have been by the casino to provide some draw and fresh retail to revitalize the area. Blow your paycheck at the casino then buy some discounted clothes :)

I agree. I’ve been to several over the years namely jeffersonville, lodi, aurora farms, a couple in fl and sc, and I’ve always seen fast food around and that’s it. I think jeffersonville has a wendys, mcdonalds, and burger king in the vicinity.

I agree seems like a perfect fit for the casino area.

I’ve found some decent deals at some of the Tanger Outlet malls in the south.

I have not been down to the one south of Columbus since Tanger took it over.

I might go check it out before Christmas.

Great. Because the 36/37 interchange isn’t hellish enough.

This, because I use that exit from time-to-time. Soon, soon my little town of Delaware will be connected to Columbus with continuous development. :(

It will be one continuous megalopolis consisting of Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, Akron and Cleveland.

And I’m sure they’re thrilled about this new retail development shifting customers even further away.

On the bright side, Marion can’t wait for the one after this.

The comment that this seems to be missing from the female shoppers is, there is a Coach outlet at Jeffersonville outlets. A large chunk of women I know drive down to that specific store to buy purses at a discount, if this new one has a Coach outlet, I think the one down south will see a large drop in customers for all stores and will soon look like the one one exit north that someone mentioned, the empty one.

Wow I didn’t know Coach had the power to ruin a large retail outlet mall.
