Late last night, David Bowie posted on his website announcing a new album and a new single "Where Are We Now". The latest I've read, is that he has no plans on touring.

Ugh. This is what they lead off with to get people excited about a new record? It's just completely dull. They could pipe this into my grandmother's nursing home and offend no one.

I say this as a big fan of his earlier work. Too bad.

OK. I was afraid to say such things as being branded as uncool or something, but snoooore.
And the lyrics might fit right in with the nursing home as well.

Ugh. His stuff with Tin Machine was awful too IMHO. This is almost as embarrassing as Paul McCartney trying to be Kurt Cobain (but not quite).
