Just got the cd in the mail last night, haven't listened to it yet though. Nice package, like a press pack, really nice. Great artwork on the comic! 40/40, is that the first or last?

40/40 is the last one, complete with a message from me not to put it on ebay, hahaha! (if remember correctly)
Apparently all our merch was delivered while we have been on tour, so i cant wait to see some of it. Also, the vinyl includes a download code that has some bonus tracks...(which we have not even heard since they were recorded and mastered 6 months ago, so i am looking forward to hearing what they sound like...lol)
Thank you everyone for supporting us, it really means a lot to have people from our hometown dig the album.

i didn't see the ebay msg, but I'll look again. i think we are actually going to frame it, I think it will look great framed. Can't wait for the 30th, that will be a great time! I think the last time I saw you guys was at the gazebo at comfest over a year ago IIRC, always fun.

Got the LP in the mail today and listening to it now for the second time. I have to admit I was a bit lukewarm toward the first album, but I'm really loving this new one! There's a noticeable maturity in both the songs and the production—an incredible start to what's sure to be an amazing career.

Thanks for the compliments, jar! The first album, quite honestly, was overproduced, used a studio band unfamiliar with the material, and took 2.5 years to complete…so by the time it was released and we toured to support it, it didn't really represent the live show or current material.
So we couldn't wait to get the new album out. We used the current touring band to record it, recorded it on tape, & used mainly 1st or 2nd takes of everything and wrapped up recording in about 3 sessions. So I'm glad it seems like an improvement; we are pretty stoked about it.

Thanks! It may come up! All our videos on youtube are basically cell-phone grade audience-shot clips, & it'd be nice to have at least just a live video that looks decent.

My favorite moment with that song was after a set in Des Moines, a drunken fan came up & said "Hey man, i really dig that Steve Urkel song!"
Which...kinda would be THE worst pick-up line ever.
