Hello everyone,
After attending this evening's CU meetup and meeting Walker and the entire CU gang after being a regular lurker here for 3 years (I have CU as one of my top 10 bookmarked pages, I just felt compelled to stop lurking and start posting/participating.
I'm a lifelong Columbus resident. Originally lived in South Linden, but spent the majority of my childhood (70s & 80s) in the Bottoms (the name Franklinton doesn't quite roll off my tongue like "The Bottoms" does) before moving to the Old Oaks area to finish my teen years. Spent some time on the Far West Side, Westerville, Canal Winchester (bought a house there and sold it 6 years later), Old Towne East and now living in Gahanna. I think I learned a thing or two about Columbus living here. ;-)
I have read a lot of the major Columbus discussions here and feel pretty strongly on some of the issues, which I'll address in due course.
Just wanted to say hi and hope to talk to you soon.
