I saw a month or so ago that this property sold and now there is a bunch of construction going on there. Anyone have any idea what they are building?

i don't think that qualifies for any federal grants.

cool, glad to see it's not a vacant lot anymore

Before that they were going to build a strip mall and I was hoping it would be urbanized. I don't think another gas station is necessary; seems like we had been doing fine without one there. I wonder if there's a cap on how many gas stations are allowed within a certain distance of each other.

Living in Franklin Park, I welcome this convenience. The BP on broad is the closest gas station and it's always feeling on the verge of gunplay.

Really? Well aren't I a softy.

The one thing I hate about that BP is that you can't even buy a pack of TUMS without finding someone with a key to the display case. Who abuses TUMS?! Are they making crack out of TUMS now? Wtf?
Seriously though, that BP really isn't so bad as long as you don't act like you're going to park in front of the door.

What’s going on with all the car washes? There are two within a few minutes of here, at the corner of Nelson and Main. Is there really that much of a demand for automatic car washes?
Snarf, trying getting gas at the old station next to the Wendys (when they have it). You'll never be nervous at the BP again.

if the Turkey Hill sold carryout beer and wine it would be a useful addition. i stopped at the BP on the way to a party that way once, and they are dry. so i then tried the marathon. i later pondered how i almost gave my life for a 6 of corona light on a hot summer's day.
on another note, we appear to be getting a number of these places.

this article has also called my attention to the fact that the full name is Turkey Hill "Minit" markets. what was wrong with the word "Minute?"Posted 2 years ago # -

Takes too long/too much attention span?

I've never been to the Marathon before but it looks way sketchy. And why is it the gas there is almost always 8-15 higher than a block away at BP? And speaking of BP, I can't stand the woman with the long finger nails working there, though I haven't seen here there in some bit.
I would much rather have something other than a gas station. How about some food options? the car wash I guess makes sense as the nearest one usually have spent condoms on the vacuums, least the one at Parsons and Livingston did. Yuck Owens!
