Main Library wrote The Loft has Landed! This new technology space on the 3rd floor of Main Library is just one of the ways we provide our patrons with the latest and greatest technology tools. With over 2.2 million people signing up to use our computers so far this year, this is sure to be a welcome addition.
The Loft will be used to provide free, web-based training for our public beginning November 12, (see the schedule here) as well as an opportunity for groups and businesses to provide their own training. There's also a boardroom and kitchenette for meetings, and 20 new computers that can be used by the public when not reserved. Call 645-2ASK or stop by the 3rd floor of Main if you're a profit-free group wanting to reserve the Loft.

I wonder if they'll do other more "advanced" training? The stuff in the schedule seemed pretty basic and I would guess anyone already reading this site would have most of it covered....
