THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH
It didn’t take Eric Brembeck, 37, and his wife Rita Volpi, 35, long to fall in love. With Studio 35, that is. The Clintonville couple visited the quirky movie house on Indianola Avenue for a craft show in September, and within weeks found themselves scraping up the money to buy a 50 percent interest.
Now they’re serving up popcorn, candy, pizza, subs and beer as co-owners of the city’s only independent, single-screen movie theater.
"We were both interested right away because it’s such a cool place," Brembeck said. "It just sort of fits with our personalities of wanting to try different things."
