Never heard/been. It's in Merion Village, the German one doesn't include Parsons. What's the crowd like?

it might have been the closet?

Yeah, it's the old Closet. Looks like they cleaned it out.

I'm not gonna lie to you all, I actually run the place. But just to let you all know we have everything from I-pod night to live original music on Saturdays to local comedy night on Sundays. There's never a cover and happy hour goes until 9pm. We got $1.00 can beers (Black Label to PBR to Strohs, etc(sweet beer selection)., $2.00 Jim Beam, and $3.00 Skyy and Sailor Jerry rum. I play just alternative music from Fugazi to Interpol(and then some). That's all folks, hope to have a beer with you soon. Thank you for your time.

I just saw your website earlier today and was going to email about possibly having a CU meetup down there. ;) We did one at the St. James a few months ago, and since they didn't serve food, we just ordered a few pizzas. Perhaps something we could do there as well?
Two quick questions though...
- what's the parking situation like?
- do you have a patio?;)

I would love for you guys to have a CU meetup here. There's alot of parking on street near the bar and no patio for a little while. We have plenty of tables inside.I will supply a couple pizzas for the group. Give me call at work when you have a moment.614-375-4812.
Thanks,

You had me at "I'm not gonna lie to you all".
I will drink here for merely that statement. If I like it, I'll drink there a lot more.

Friday would be the perfect night to come check out Hal & Al's as Dan is graciously allowing me to host a fundraiser for the Tour de Cure. I have more details here:

We will be playing cornhole and grilling hot dogs. There will be a raffle for a BBQ package from the Columbus Meat Packers Outlet, plently of opportunities to show your support in the fight against diabetes.

Definitely a cool bar, and great staff! I live on Gates and decided to check it out, liked it so much, I am now working with them on promotions!
Just come down and get a beer and see for yourself!
And make sure to come for iPod night....should be fun! :)

Sorry, that was my fault, it's Merion Village. I will also correct the Google typo. Apparentally, it's not my day today. If anyone is interested, I have a free show tomorrow night with three comedians that are from New York(Satan's Comic-Glenn Miller, Rob White, and Tim Thompson)and they're performing at the tattoo convention this weekend. These guys are nice enough to do a free show at Hal and Al's and they're funny as hell. Show starts around 10:30pm, thanks.
