I did't make a complete stop when I made right at an intersection with red right. Well, I did stop, but it wasn't like a stop you learned at driving school.
@miss kitty
wow, you are quite an expert on this! I wonder if I can say the same thing about the court fee... I don't know if I have guts to do that lol
I would like to know more about this. Does this mean you told the judge that you will hire a lawyer and fight further? I don't know if that works for me... especially concidering my violation is minor one.. What do you think?
I am not an attorney and I'm not an expert by any means and courts are intimidating at times, I have watched and dealt with the court system for years it's a bit of a double edge sword. However, Once you see so many examples and see the cases play out you can almost know where it will go.
You don't have to be nervous to ask for lowered costs or dropped points, just ask politely see if they can't work with you what is the worst that could happen at that point? Unless you have a million other tickets lol that would be different.
Sit close to the Prosecutor sometimes you can hear how they deal. That would be my suggestion because then you would hear the different arrangements for a variety of cases.
The prosecutor called me up to the little table. He looked at my ticket and asked me what I wanted to plead. Laid out my thoughts and defense and that’s when he prompted to drop the ticket and just pay costs. That's when I explained my thoughts about paying three times as much per the circumstances. It's a bit much and he thought about for another second and dropped it all.

tell them you're moving,
did you get your headlight fixed?
Yes, I fixed the light the very next morning I would have replaced it that evening but it was new years day and late Our closest auto parts store was not open. It seems that the nice thing to do would be a warning instead of a 126 dollar ticket.
