The drivers side window in my wife's 1995 Honda Acord got busted out (see related post) and I need to get it fixed. Is there a place that can get the window fixed cheap?
I can go to the Honda dealer, but in other cities I have been able to find places that get the window from a junked car and replace it on the cheap. Live in German Village so something on South high where the yards are would be great.

Look up Alternative Auto.. they might be able to do something for you.. otherwise if you want to DIY, call pick n pull and see if they think they might have one...

There are a ton of salvage yards on the near west side that may have what you're looking for - some even have searchable databases online. I used one of them to replace the HVAC fascia on my old '98 Accord when it was damaged in a careless stereo theft incident. I used Safelite to replace the window, broken in the same incident, but the glass had a little distortion at certain angles. I wished I had used an OEM replacement instead.
I suggest dragging out the ol' Yellow Pages and finding a few salvage yards with websites, then seeing if you can find one with your part.

OK, it wasn't the bargain I was asking for.
But the guy on the phone said they would come out and do it in a couple of hours, I didn't even need to be there.
So I don't have to take time off at work and the window gets fixed before the rain. I'm willing to pay a few more $$s for that service.
Thanks for the suggestions though.
