Need help finding an event space in San Fran!

My fiancee and I are looking for a reception spot in SF for October. Can anyone help? Despite hours of internet research and a site inspection visit to SF, we still haven't been able to find the perfect place. Here's what we're looking for:

-Comfortably accommodate 70-80 people (but not too big)
-Area for a DJ
-Allows outside caterer
-Contemporary, sleek, and dramatic space
-Preferably with a view
-(we're NOT having a seated dinner)

The space could be a lounge, a gallery, a house, whatever.

My sister rented an amazing winery just north of the city in Napa. I must say it was simply the most beautiful location I have ever seen for a wedding. I dj'd the event and there was plenty of dance floor and a small cave that offered a reception area. I could get the info if needed.

Thanks for the suggestion! We're actually having our ceremony at a winery (Stag's Leap) in Napa on Friday night and want to have a reception/cocktail party in San Fran (where our guests are staying) on Saturday night. It's amazing how difficult it's been to find exactly what we want in a city like San Fran!

Post the same question on tripadvisor.com forum for San Francisco; chowhound.com, etc. to get advice from local people. In addition to your list above they would want to know what part of the city to focus on, Union Square, etc.

The Stanford Court Renaissance Hotel on Nob Hill would fit the bill - a contemporary boutique hotel in a very fashionable part of San Francisco. The Hotel Drisco in Pacific Heights would also make for a lovely wedding reception.

You might check out Bourbon & Branch. They have private event spaces but I'm not sure what their capacity is.
