Need a car for a video shoot.

Hey CU. I'm shooting some video footage for an upcoming multi-media art project. One of the subjects I'd like to shoot is a 1956 red Cadillac, ideally one that looks like this.

Since a 54 year old car in near-mint condition might be hard to come by, I would also be happy to work with a modern sports car of any color.

The car will not be in motion - I will not drive it nor ask you to drive it around for me. In fact, it never has to leave your driveway. I just need to capture some detail close-ups of hubcaps, headlights, steering wheels, etc. It should only take an hour or so of your time.

Compensation will be a "special thanks" listing in the credits because that's all I can afford right now :)

if you have no luck here you might see if any car dealers would want to get involved in exchange for their name in the credit.

There are some classic car places like Arena motors, or take some pics at the next car show that comes to the fairgrounds.

How long of time frame? If I get the water pump replaced in my 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo you can use it. It is not flawless, but takes good shots. Here are a few my wife took:

If any new model BMW car would help, let me know and I can probably arrange it. Or if you want a motorcycle, I've got a very photogenic R1200 GSA if you want to go that zombie apocalypse look.

hahah Nissan claims it is called "brickyard red" I prefer to go with "merlot." I have also heard "ox blood"

Second this. Having spoken to them before, I've found them to be very accommodating and helpful.

Also Bear has a classic American car that he might be willing to have photographed.
