I was driving in from the east side for the first time in a long time on Sunday, and it looks like their putting a sign on 1 Nationwide. Anyone know if they're going to do the same on the west side?
I think it'll be a good addition to the skyline, assuming the have it lit up at night.

I believe we're just having one sign installed on the East side of the building. At least that's what I remember reading on our internal site.

Anyone have a photo?

The signage is going to eventually be on both sides. This is from the release.
The exterior signage makes our commitment to the north end of downtown Columbus even more visible. The signage will appear on both sides of the building exterior. While white illuminated lettering will show at night, the sign includes a color-change feature to help us celebrate key events such as Cancer Awareness Month and Independence Day.

At least it will make that monstrosity look just a tad better. I really wish the Huntington buildings would light up more at night.

got some pictures of the color changes going on tonight before the sign turned off at 9pm! Pretty neat.

Looks like the West side signage is going up now. The bottom of the square is up along with some scaffold/template. East side looks great. Nice pics, Anne.

Date: Friday, December 23, 2011, 6:00am ESTNationwide plans to paint the skywalks connecting its headquarters to the convention center the same color as its logo. The one spanning High Street, shown here in a digitally altered rendering, could carry short short marketing messages and graphics promoting community events such as the city's bicentennial celebration.

Honestly, I wish they'd take the skywalks down. Can you imagine all those people crossing the street during the day....it would make for a lot of city bustle....but with the graphics it does look much better.

Yeah, I'm digging the graphics, though I agree that all skywalks should be removed. ;)

I like the idea of repainting the skywalks, though I understand how they can destroy a city. Thank god we don't have the one from city center anymore though.

They need to utilize the red and green light scheme! I haven't seen it lit that way yet.

I like how they can use the skywalk for messaging. Now we need banners strung across High St and hanging the whole way!
I love streets with strung up lights or flags or banners. Would definitely feel special!Posted 5 months ago # -
