Born in Jamaica, Nari Ward recently became a naturalized U.S. citizen. That process raised numerous questions about law and authority that have become major influences on his workâdramatic sculptural installations made of found material from his urban neighborhood in New York City.
Ward has received many awards and shown extensively, most recently in a solo show at Lehman Maupin Gallery in New York and group exhibitions at the Galeria Continua, Beijing, China, and the Isabella Stewart Gardener Museum, Boston, MA. We are pleased to include his work in our spring exhibition WALL.
Launched in August 2010, TheMetropreneur.com is a local online resource devoted to small business development and entrepreneurship. Its aim is to tell the stories of Central Ohio's business community, foster regional economic development and assist entrepreneurs with its resource-heavy focus.
