Did anyone see the "Naked Earth" on the National Geographic channel this evening? It may have been a re-run (as I don't watch that channel too often because it often scares the crap out of me). The episode was called "dino-meteor," or something like that. They were discussing the event 250 million years ago that caused 99.9% of life to be destroyed on the planet ( "The Great Dying") that gave rise to the evolution of dinosaurs. At the end of the episode they pinpointed Columbus Ohio as the epicenter impact of a hypothetical meteor that would cause the same kind of destruction!!!
I guess that would spell not only the end of the "Indie Art Capital," but also the end of all human life!
Hey! At least Columbus is being mentioned outside of Columbus!
