I'm sure you were all at the edge of your seats waiting for the update - I never made it to O'Reilly's last night. A friend and I met up at VIP Lounge at High and Kanawha, got captivated by the crowd and didn't leave. Next time.

Barley's Ale House #1 has a new batch of Blood Thirst Wheat. I enjoyed a few pints tonight, thanks to Angelo's hard work.
I love Barley's.

Bob's Bar, but not sure it's what people would classify as a pub. Relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere with 30 rotating craft brews on draft, plus maybe 200 bottles.

Bob's has changed over the last few years after new owners took over about eight years ago. It gets more of the late night crowd and remains pretty busy until close after 2am. Easy-going crowd and great beers, but it is sometime difficult to get a beer. They'll have one to three people working the entire bar but it doesn't bother me enough to not go. Not a big fan of Eldorado. Not much character or atmosphere in the place and definitely a different crowd.

I have found it tough to get a beer there too. When it comes to a beer, I'd rather have a poor selection and fast service than great selection and poor service.

Definitely check out Bob's once and see what you think. They don't do table service and you might have to wait a few minutes at the bar to get your beer, depending on the night and number of bartenders. You'll get a feel for whether it works for you. The selection of beer is the biggest draw for me and everything closes in Worthington by 11ish.

I'm a big fan of the St. James and like the atmosphere more. Fewer beers, but definitely a good selection that takes care of me. Similar crowd in my opinion. But too far of a drive.
