Theme 1: Remixes and Covers
Can you name:
KIT 1 - A song that hit the US charts twice in different decades but in the same version (original release)
KIT2 - A song that hit the US charts twice in different decades, the second time in a remix of the first version.
KIT3 - A song that hit the US charts for the first time decades after it was first released, in a remix version.
KIT4 - A song that hit the US charts twice in different decades, the same singer, but different versions.
KIT5 - A hit song written by one famous falsetto-voiced singer for another one.
KIT6- A song that was covered both by Aerosmith and by Michael Jackson
KIT7 - A folk ballad that only became a hit after being remixed with an electric guitar
KIT8 - An R& B song that was released with a snippet of the remix added to the end
KIT9- A blues song written for a black singer by two Jewish songwriters, but that became a hit when covered by a white rock and roll artist.
KIT10 - An artist who became a superstar producer on the strength of an widely-distributed album of illegal remixes.
