O.A.R.’s JERRY DePIZZO, TRANSIT ARTS HIGHLIGHT MUSIC LOVES OHIO HOLIDAY CONCERT
Dec. 18th show at The Basement benefits Central Ohio charity
O.A.R. saxophonist Jerry DePizzo headlines a fantastic night of music for the inaugural Music Loves Ohio Holiday Concert, coming up Friday, December 18, 2009 at The Basement in Columbus’ Arena District.
“We are very excited to have one of Central Ohio’s most talented professional musicians headlining this event to benefit Music Loves Ohio,†MLO president Matthew Crumpton said. “It is great to see that someone who has had the level of success that Jerry has had be so supportive in giving back to his community by supporting local youth music opportunities.â€Â
Jared Mahone and local youth artists from Transit Arts will be joining DePizzo of O.A.R., whose single “Shattered†was certified platinum by the RIAA earlier this year.

Music Loves Ohio is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities for underserved children of all backgrounds in Central Ohio to learn, perform, and record music.
