Let the fireworks begin... I used to be a member of the northwest civic assn back when I was in HS and those old blue hairs would have created a human shield to protect Bethel rd if they had to.

it's NOT just for the downtown grocery thread that you put reading-comprehension on the back burner, then, eh?the 30 years timeframe that you drop in the above post refers to something that happened in '98.
so either you mean "13 years later . . ."
(from the '98 ballot)or you mean "43 years later . . ."
(from the original shooting-down of the idea)but there is no relevant "30 years" to today . . .
