I know of Wland and Jview, What else is out there? Space needs to be secure.

Have you tried Jacob or Dan at the Wall Street practice spaces yet?

Rooms are locked, has security system in place, good access to street level for loading in and out, no stairs or elevators required.
Email for more details, cost, and to set up an appointment to check the space out.

if that doesn't work out for you, search on Donewaiting.com (if you haven't already). there's usually a couple of people a month looking for basically the same setup, & there might be a few different options mentioned there.
for a pretty cheap option, call Paul at Kompressor Studios. $10 an hour to rehearse, $15 an hour to record. It's on Cleveland right by 5th ave. (the heart of the fried chicken district!) and a super laid-back, cheap, and safe place to rehearse. Woosley Band used to rehearse there once a week for a year or two.
