Yup...they are opening a place at The Shoppes at River Ridge (161 & Riverside Drive). The gentleman handling their communciations account here in Columbus, Mark Casher, passed this on.

Now hiring all postions. Servers, Bussers, Host, Bartenders and Kitchen for employment date of late March. Restaurant Grand Opening to take place mid April. We are the #1 independent restaurant in the State of Ohio.
Please forward copy of resume for consideration. We will be accepting applications on site at 4565 West Dublin-Granville Road, Dublin Ohio 43017 on the following days from 10-4: January 22, January 29, February 5, February 12, February 16-20, February 23-27.

Here is the secret ingredients in their sauce: high fructose corn syrup, vinegar, tomato paste and cat urine. I'm about as excited for this as getting checked for prostate cancer.

Well, close but I'm not seeing cat urine in the list.. ;)

Ingredients: Tomatoes, Distilled Vinegar, Corn Syrup, Sugar, Water, Salt, Spices, Dehydrated Onions, Dehydrated Garlic, Molasses, Natural Flavors, Caramel Color and Tamarinds.

Anyone else hate ribs? They taste fine, I just can't stand to watch other people eat them.

But most people love Montgomery Inn, so good news on that front.

Never quite understood what the hype was about, even being a native Cincinnatian, but hey, lots of people like it, so I'm sure there will be a market in Columbus.

+1 actually +2, my grandfather want's to go too, but is too fragile to get to Cincinnati. Awesome Ribs and great service (at least at the Boat House).

Montgomery InnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Dublin eatery set for April opening
Business First of Columbus

Cincinnati dining icon Montgomery Inn is scheduled to open its first barbecue restaurant in Central Ohio next month more than a year after signing on at the Shoppes at River Ridge complex in Dublin.

The company said the 10,000-square-foot restaurant will open April 15. The site has seating for up to 300 guests along with a year-round patio, bar and private party rooms.

I'll definitely make a point to check them out - it's been a long time.

Having spent 8 years in Cincy, it's really odd to see TV commercials for Montgomery Inn (not to mention how cheezy they are, something about "The INN crowd" or something...). Kind of the equivalent of advertising the OSU/UM game here!
